Some women see having a pedicure done as an extra treat. Many women would love to be pampered just once in their life. Just think of all those women you pass every single day who are constantly having to stand on their feet to make a living and what a pedicure would mean to them.

There isn’t a woman who does not want to look her best for the upcoming summer season. The majority of women want all the attention they can get and having their feet look their best is just a great confidence booster.

Fill a bucket with water, which should be on the hot side if you would like to give yourself a pedicure at home. Take a nice thick bath towel and add it to the inside of the bucket, which gives a much more comfortable place to rest your weary feet as they soak.

A natural disinfectant such as Epsom salt would be great added to the bucket of hot water you are soaking your feet in. Another suggestion is using any type of vapor bath that is available on the market that includes eucalyptus or menthol in it.

To properly groom your toes so they look their best, then you should always use a pre-soaked cotton ball dipped in nail polish remover to remove any old nail polish.

To help soften dry cuticles use a bit of olive oil and gently rub it into the cuticle area. Your toe nails should always be cut straight across. The edges of your toenails and the sides will need to be smoothed down using a nail file once they have been clipped with clippers.

Taking care of your feet is as simple as giving yourself a home pedicure. Use a moisturizing cream to gently massage in the skin of not only your feet, but your calves and legs too. Be sure to wash any moisturizer that may have gotten on your toenails off with warm water and soap, then allow them to dry on their own.
